This is the perfect summer throw if you’re looking for something light, breeze and fun! The yarn I’ve chosen is machine washable to feel free to take it outside by the campfire or to the beach! It’ll be a showstopper!

  • I’ve made this pattern for a 60”x30′ throw but you can make this bigger or smaller by adjusting the foundation row in a multiple of 13 then PLUS 12 chs to whatever length you have chosen.
  • This pattern uses 3 different alternating patterns/colours to create the overall pattern – while following a traditional chevron pattern. Follow diagram below and repeat as need to fit to desired length

Foundation Row: With MC, ch 90

Row 1: Starting in the 2nd ch from hook dc the first 2 ch together (dc2tog) dc in next 3 chs, dc 3 times in next ch, * dc in the next 5 ch, sk 2 ch, dc in next 5 ch’s, dc in nextch 3 times, repeat from * until you are left with 5 chs, dc one in next 3 then dc2tog the last 2 chs to finish row, turn. Row 3: Change to CC and complete ROW 1 as above

Row 4: Change to MC and complete ROW 2 as above

Row 8: Change to MC and complete ROW 1

Repeat Rows 1-8 until you have reached your desired length.

Finishing: Weave in ends. Make tassels by cutting 6, 12in strands of CC and loop around and attach to each chevron point at both ends of the throw.
