Simple Chevron Throw

Just about the softest throw you’ll make! I made this one for one my favourite humans in the world. She loved it so much she nominated it to her bedroom and sleeps with it at night *pats self on back*! This is made with a super chunky yarn that works up in a flash! Please enjoy… at least as much as she does!

Materials:

  • 6 skeins of Yarnspirations Bernat Blanket Yarn. I used White and Grey (3 of each)
  • Crochet hook size M (9.00mm)

Abbreviations:

Mc: main color

Cc: contrast color

Sc: single crochet

Ch: chain

Sc3tog: single crochet 3 together

Pattern:

To start ch 135 with MC

Row 1: In second ch from hook sc2tog, sc 6, *3 sc in next ch, sc 6, sc3tog, sc 6, 3 sc in next ch*, repeat to last 8 sts, sc 6, sc2tog. turn

Row 2: Working in back loops only, ch 1, sc2tog, sc 6, *3 sc in next ch, sc 6, sc3tog, sc 6, 3 sc in next ch*, repeat to last 8 sts, sc 6, sc2tog. turn

Row 3: repeat row 2, change to CC in last stitch

Row 4: repeat row 2

Row 5: repeat row 2, change to MC in last stitch

Row 6: Repeat row 2

*Row 2 is the pattern repeat and from this point forward we are only alternating colours every 2 rows

Repeat rows 3-6 until you are at your desired length.
